Hallowood

Wandering Heights, a dilapidated mansion near Hallowood, is home to Count Theodore, a teenager living with a terrible secret, and his caretaker Sebaskian, a strange, mute, hunchback who dreams of a better life.

The sudden appearance of Harriet, a lost Yuletide Faerie, begins a sequence of events that will change the course of their lives.

No one is who they appear to be, and it is only when mysteries are discovered and unveiled  that their true selves can be revealed

Pagan

After the death of her Father, teenager Annabel Tain moves to Scotland with her Mother, to a remote gatehouse on the edge of an old eerie, overrun estate.

At Halloween, when the Hunters Moon is full, she meets a strange half naked boy in the woods who claims he's a Pagan from the past, at a time when people were burned at the stake for their beliefs. Is he real? Or a figment of a grief stricken mind? And how can they be together when time, is most definitely not on their side.

This is a ghostly tale of love, jealousy and fate...dare to read it?  Well you'll be able to soon I hope, I'm taking it with me to New Zealand in April this year (2012) and hope to send it on a journey to agents and publishers on my return!

Meanwhile, her disappearance has caused concern, and the police have begun a search party.

The Skeleton and the Ghost

I have been enchanted by Dr.Bach's Flower Remedies for over twenty years now and find myself in the happy occupation of becoming a practitioner. You may have heard of the Rescue Remedy, often used for fear of flying or sitting a driving test, but there are actually 38 remedies, which cover every emotion we humans can feel.  It  is a complete system of healing which is natural, safe and simple to use in every home. With no side effects they can be used alongside any other treatment as they treat the person, not the illness, with a belief that when the personality, disposition and emotions of a person is in good health then it follows that the physical body will also be well. They are safe to use on all ages and are also beneficial to our animal and plant companions.  Please take a wander through my tree grove to check them out.

You can contact the Bach centre for further information on any issue related to the remedies or if you'd like to be one of my case studies for my further study or ask advice, contact me via email.

Click on any of the bottles in the grove to discover more about the particular remedies.

Michelle Cassidy Wilkie lives in the middle of nowhere in a magical world of her own. A world full of Tree Spirits, Flower Faeries, Goddesses and the occasional appearance of a Green Man. She lives with Nudge and Boo( two naughty Mooks) Scruffy Dog ( an occasionally bearded man) and Olly, a real bearded collie.

In her world, she studies and makes up Bach Flower Remedies, which she believes to be a vocation, and hopes to convince everyone she meets to give them a try. She believes that Dr. Bach had the answer to healing the self, and is so convinced that she believes she will never become ill! ( and to date is doing rather well )

A great lover of traditional Fairytales and their symbolism, she likes to invent her own tales with twists and turns and supernatural spookiness of a sort, all of her stories have a magical element to them and peer behind the veil of the physical world. ( something she likes to do herself! )

When she's finished her 'House Elf' duties ( which demand too much of her time! ) you can find her reading or scribbling in any number of secret spots she has found in the beautiful countryside around her home (especially Campsie Glen, a beautiful and spiritual place) eating apples and dreaming of the characters in her books and of a better world!

She believes firmly that it does not matter if you live with a wicked stepmother (or father), a cruel giant or overbearing troll, ugly sisters (or brothers) One day you WILL be free of them, and when that day comes she hopes very much that you will be able to reach for the stars, whilst keeping at least one foot firmly on the ground!

You can contact her about the Bach Flower remedies or read excerpts from her books whilst following their journey.  You can also read more of her scribbles here or find out what has been happening in Michelle's world.
